Do I need to exact match the domain name to my keywords?
Several years ago, the answer was defiantly yes. But, Google has changed all that.
A good real estate domain name should include the following criteria.
Short but sweet.
Easy to spell and remember.
Can easily be branded.
Always pick a .com

If you were typing a domain and it had 30+ characters. reblogdogisawesomeformyrealestatecareer.com. How many times would you get it wrong before you give up? Exactly!
Easy to spell and remember
I would give the average person 2 tries to spell your last name. I know… I know… But, you have been writing it since grade school. Remember, this is their first try. Unless your name is Smith or Jones. Pick something else.
Can easily be branded
I believe, this is the one of the most important factors. It can take the bulk of our creativeness. But, there are domain names available that will do just that.
Always pick a .com
I know, the perfect domain name is available in .net .ca .me .realtor .house . … OK then… What domain gets all your hard earned traffic? The .com Why? Because that is the most common extension.You can have the most amazing, perfect, out of this world website with .net, the .com will be the one most will remember.
Now, that being said. Most traffic to your website will be from referrals, social media, emails, and searches like Google. No one even types in your domain name for any of these. They just click a link that already has it spelled right.
